New Guards Group - holding company part of the Farfetch Group - has acquired Ambush, a Japanese luxury-streetwear brand, expanding its brand portfolio that already includes Off-White, Palm Angels, Marcelo Burlon, Heron Preston and Alanui.
Established in 2008 as a jewellery brand by Yoon Ahn, a graphic designer and creative director of Dior men's jewellery, and her husband Verbal, a world-famous pop star, in 2016 Ambush has created its first ready-to-wear collection and quickly established itself as one of the most interesting brands around the world.
Finalists of the 2017 LVMH Prize, Ambush counts Kanye West and Rihanna among its fans and has collaborated with Nike, Rimowa, Sacai, Converse and Gentle Monster.
