Ergon has acquired a majority stake in Indo, alongside DVRCAPITAL, acting as a minority co-investor, other financial invetors and management.

Founded in 1937, and headquartered in Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona, Spain) Indo is the leading Spanish independent manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses, to independent optical stores and leading optical retail chains, and one of the largest distributors of optical and ophthalmologic equipment. Indo employs approximately 350 people and operates two state-of-the-art plants located in Spain (El Papiol/Barcelona) and Morocco (Tanger).
